Music Magazine DPS

 This is My original DPS. It lacked a background and a quote from my article.

 In my second, I added the background and a quote. I also formatted the font differently to stand out.

On my final one i added a black text background and another image to go within the text.

I like the colours you've used as it fits the genre of music your magazine is and it uses a consistancy throughout the page. You have used lots of images which is very good as contents pages do have lots of images on them which makes it looks proffesional. The main title text doesn't really work with the other text on the page so I would change that to fit the genre of your magazine. Also there are a few blank spaces around your page so fill those up with more text and images. Also you are missing a letter from the editor which would make it look more professional and fit the the genre of your magazine. Fiannly some of the images you have used are not your own, so I would take some more images to gain more marks.

Strengths: this is a good contents page, you have followed the conventions well. Your page numbers stand out against the dark background which is good. You have kept to the three colours advised to you.
Areas for improvement: I would suggest spacing the images out a bit more, and adding a few more conventions for example; plugs if you have any special offers just to fill in the emptier spaces towards the top. And the contrast of your 'features' heading could be a little brighter.

Contents final draft

This is my final draft i mentioned in the previous page. I feel it works better and feel happy with it. I will improve it once i have feedback from my peers.

In this draft I experimented with a different colour and added my fourth original image. It is a variation on my final, but i don't entirely like it. I think the red worked better as a background.
