The layout of the page draws the readers to the warrior in the middle. We can see he is a warrior by what he is wearing and the fact that he is holding swords. This increases appeal to anybody who may be interested in this genre of games. In addition to this, we can see what appears to be a tail (of what we can assume to be a dragon by the text) wrapping around the man in the middle. This enforces the fantasy genre of the feature of the magazine, therefore increasing interest from anybody anticipating the game.
The magazine keeps the house style of the previous issues in terms of where the title, world exclusive, header and footer are positioned. This means that the magazine is instantly recognisable when positioned next to other Xbox magazines on the shelves.
The age rating is used to recommend advisory age due to content in the magazine. There could be images of graphic violence or sometimes images of a sexual nature, which is why the age rating is there. This also gives a recommended target audience as if the age rating is 15, the content is going to be tailored for that age group.
Above where it says the magazine name, it states which issue the magazine is and what month the magazine was released. This can be used for archiving purposes and to reference back to previous issues of the magazine.
